Riders of all levels can take part in the annual KM Big Bike Ride in support Oasis Domestic Abuse Service, but they’ll need to be up for the challenge.
The event on Sunday, October 11, is a 50K or 100K challenge, organised by the KM Charity Team.
The two routes of Betteshanger Country Park near Deal have been designed by sportive rider and organiser Keith Spencer of Herberts Cycles to be varied and interesting, flat with some occasional hills.
The 50km ride will take you through some beautiful Kent countryside and the 100km ride will take you along the coast. Some 70% of sponsorship money raised goes to your charity and 30% to the children’s road safety initiatives carried out by the charity team.
Riders will be given specific time slots and will need to book in advance and leave on time.
To book your place go to kmcharityteam.co.uk . There will be no on the day registrations due to the necessary social distancing measures.
