Black Deer Festival has announced the final wave of artists for this year’s line-up, including Homeland actor Damian Lewis.
The TV star, who has recently announced his new career as a musician, will be performing at the festival on the same day his debut album is released.
The Emmy-award winning actor, who has also appeared in shows such as Band of Brothers, Billions and Wolf Hall, released his first single, Down on the Bowery, earlier this month.
The album, Mission Creep, is set to be released on Friday, June 16, which is the same day as Damian will perform at Black Deer Festival, near Tunbridge Wells.
The latest line-up announcement also includes singer-songwriter Richard Hawley, who is known for his collaborations with artists such as Pulp and Arctic Monkeys as well as his eight solo albums.
Singer Patty Griffin, Grammy-nominated musician Brandy Clark and winners of the Black Deer Emerging 2023 programme - Demi Marriner, Motel Sundown, Anna Howie, and Samuel Ashton - will also be performing.
They join the likes of Bonnie Raitt, The Pretenders, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Bear’s Den, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Far From Saints, who have already been confirmed for the June festival.
The Americana, country, rock and blues festival is one of the biggest in the county and also features outdoor family activities, live cooking demonstrations and The Roadhouse where visitors can find custom bike builders, vintage vehicles and exclusive merchandise.
Black Deer Festival takes place at Eridge Park near Tunbridge Wells from Friday, June 16 to Sunday, June 18.
Tickets start from £87.75 and can be booked online here.
Ticket upgrades, including ‘fancy camping’ and pre-pitched, can also be booked online.
