She may not be dancing, but her Audience With is certain to be entertaining.

Former Maidstone and the Weald MP Ann Widdecombe, who went on to appear as a contestant in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing after leaving parliament in 2010, will be returning to her former constituency when she holds An Audience With Ann Widdecombe at the Hop Farm.

Since leaving politics, she has pursued a career as a novelist as well as appearing on Strictly when she partnered Anton Du Beke.

She will present her show on Saturday, June 11, at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood at 7pm.

Ann will relate her story of growing up in Singapore, entering politics and her career as minister for prisons, as well as her subsequent emergence as a TV celebrity, and the second half of the show includes questions from the audience.

She added of her former constituency, which she represented as Maidstone from 1987 and Maidstone and the Weald from 1997 to 2010, she said: "Every time I come to Maidstone they have changed the road system!"
