It will soon be raining cakes and dogs in Ashford.
LoveAshford is gearing up to host its first ever Great British Bark Off, an exciting event combining cake and canines in a fun, free family event.
This amazing event on Saturday, August 31 will have something for everyone to enjoy including free slices of cake!
Does your dog have it what it takes to wow the panel of judges or are your baking skills good enough to win a prize?
If the answer is yes, then Ashford’s town centre beckons.
Participants can register their dog for the show by clicking on the link below.
Owners can enter one dog per person while participants can register their dogs in advance to secure entry to the competition. People can also register their dog on the day of the event.

The Great British Bark Off will get underway at the Bandstand at 12pm with live music to follow from 1pm.
You can tuck into some tasty treats from local food stalls and even make a dog accessory for your pet at the Doggy Style stall with Made in Ashford.
Local food businesses will be contributing cakes to the bake-off where judges will sort the light and fluffy from the soggy bottoms.
If you're a local food business or simply proud of your baking skills, then now's your chance to really show what you’ve got by entering The Great British Bark Off cake competition.
Who knows, you could be one of the winners and that really would be the cherry on the cake!

With wagging tails at the ready, the dog show will take place between 2pm and 3pm.

The lucky winners can get their paws on some fabulous prizes including some fab treats from Curious Brewery.
Local animal charities and community groups will be in attendance while kids can get into the spirit of things by having their face painted.
