Children’s favourite Mister Maker will be helping make the 40th birthday celebrations for The Mall Maidstone shopping centre fun-filled.
The centre, which has undergone a £6 million revamp to mark the birthday, started out as The Stoneborough Centre in 1976, before becoming the Chequers centre.
To mark the anniversary the King Street centre will host a family fun day from 10am on Saturday, October 22, with a visit from Kent-based CBeebies’ favourite, Mister Maker at 11am.
As well as face painting and craft sessions and free events throughout the day, there will the chance to win toys from The Entertainer toy shop.
