Viewers may have only just put their tissues away after the Series 10 finale, but producers of Call the Midwife are already back filming the next series in the county.
The hugely popular show, which has been partially filmed at the Historic Dockyard Chatham since its beginning, ended its tenth season last Sunday with a tear-jerking finale.
But this week, it was back to business as usual as visitors to the dockyard caught a glimpse of some of the filming for Series 11.
Leonie Elliott, who plays Lucille Anderson, was spotted on set as she prepared to shoot scenes in her blue nurse's dress, burgundy cardigan and matching cap.
Filming for the next series began in April by Neal Street Productions, but location scenes are shot with the backdrop of the dockyard.
One lucky visitor, Maria McCarthy, said she had caught Lucille's attention when she saw her learning her lines during her lunchbreak.
And she managed to snatch a selfie with her - after the star offered to pose with her.
She said: "Leonie was so lovely. She waved from a distance, then asked if I would like a photo."
The dockyard is home to an exhibition about the show, in conjunction with the producers, and tours of the sets.
