For creative kids, the Ceramics Café in Dover is a must.
It specialises in ceramics painting and gives little ones a chance to get creative.
Sit down and decorate a mug, tray or vase together; the range of products to pick and choose from is huge.
Staff are always on hand to help with techniques, answer any questions and make your visit relaxing and enjoyable.
Co-owner Diana Ingleton says: “Everyone who comes here loves it! It’s fun to create something that is uniquely yours.”
For something extra special, create a keepsake of your baby or child’s hand or footprint to give to loved ones or even keep yourself. You can book your place on the web site or for a last-minute session, give the studio a call directly to check availability.
After your session, your newly-painted masterpiece is fired and glazed and you can collect the finished product at a later date.
All ceramics are suitable for food and every day use and are dishwasher safe.
Where:Opening times:Price: £2 session fee, for up to two hours, plus the In-Studio cost of the
item you choose to paint. Most items range from £6 to £16, with large
platter up to £40.
