Canterbury's Pam Ferris among the voices in Channel 4's We're Going on a Bear Hunt this Christmas

Popular children's bedtime book We're Going on a Bear Hunt comes to TV screens this Christmas.
With the voices of Pam Ferris, who lives near Canterbury, as Grandma, Olivia Colman as Mum and Mark Williams as Dad, the new animated adventure comes to our screens on Christmas Eve.
By the same makers as The Snowman and the Snowdog, and based on the book by Michael Rosen, the show will be on Christmas Eve at 7.30pm.
Stan, Katie, Rosie, Max and the baby, along with Rufus the dog, all embark on a quest to find some bears. Trekking through whirling snowstorms, muddy bogs and dark forests, the siblings refuse to let anything get in their way.
However, when Rosie and Rufus end up getting lost, bear-hunting suddenly doesn’t seem quite so much fun after all.
British singer-songwriter George Ezra has written and recorded the theme song while author Michael Rosen will star as the bear himself.
This week's bumper What's On inside your KM paid-for paper has a 21-day guide to TV over Christmas.
