Grab the popcorn and watch the sun go down behind the big screen this July.
Film fanatics can catch blockbusters such as Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick and Pretty Woman on outdoor screens at Kent landmarks with the Luna Cinema.
The touring open-air cinema company returns for its 15th year of on-screen entertainment this summer, with screenings at Tonbridge Castle and Leeds Castle.
The first wave of films will take place from Friday, July 21 to Sunday, July 23 in Tonbridge.
The castle grounds will be transformed into an outdoor theatre for evening showings of Top Gun: Maverick, the Greatest Showman Sing-along and Pretty Woman.
The following week, the company will move to Leeds Castle near Maidstone for four nights of films from Thursday, July 27 to Sunday, July 30.
Visitors can enjoy Elvis, Top Gun: Maverick, Mamma Mia and Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in the historic grounds.
You can book tickets online here.
Each screening offers two types of tickets. The standard tickets allow visitors to bring their own picnic blankets or chairs, while the premium tickets include a director’s seat for additional comfort.
There will also be food and drink available at each date.
Leeds Castle will offer chicken, burgers and chilli from Lloyd’s Kitchen and sweet treats from Cripes Its Crepes, while there will be bratwurst from True Taste of Germany at Tonbridge Castle.
Both events will also have the Luna Bar, serving alcoholic and soft drinks, and a range of popcorn and cinema snacks to purchase.
George Wood, founder of the Luna Cinema, said: “Since 2008, we’ve had over a million visitors attend our screenings, with the Luna Cinema serving as the best example of open-air cinema in the UK.
“We know that fans can’t wait to be back under the stars at one of our iconic venues this season. As well as offering world-class screenings, the Luna Cinema serves as a social experience which allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in cinematic magic.
“We’re known for our outstanding venues and our 2023 programme consists of more than 30 stunning sites which are guaranteed to create a night to remember. We have programmes at Tonbridge Castle and Leeds Castle which will offer something for everyone in Kent!”
