LeeFest: The Neverland announces Friday headliner Circa Waves for summer 2016 near Tunbridge Wells

Acclaimed young band Circa Waves have joined the list of headliners at this summer's LeeFest: The Neverland, which is being held at a secret location near Tunbridge Wells.They will be Friday night headliners for the event, being held from Thursday, July 28 to Saturday, July 30.Their Liverpudlian brand of indie-pop has led to the release of their debut LP Young Chasers, a celebratory tour and now headlining debut at LeeFest.
They’ll be joined on the bill by art-rock pioneers Everything Everything, who have three acclaimed albums in their back pocket.
Garage rockers VANT and cult drum and bass hero DJ Marky & MC GQ will be bringing their unique styles to The Neverland, with the latter taking to the Electric Circus & Innersoul curated evening. Alongside Saturday night headliner Lianne La Havas, the weekend sees performances from Ghostpoet, Shura, Roots Manuva, The 2 Bears, Submotion Orchestra, Little Simz, Loyle Carner, Formation, Clean Cut Kid and Spring King.A spokesman for VANT said: "It's a festival like no other… created and maintained by one dude and his ever-expanding garden. Hopefully we will get to meet the mystery man himself. See you all in the sun!"
The festival will be across three main stages and 12 music venues plus immersive areas and promises a range of other not-to-be-missed events including glitter wrestling, paint fights and cabaret.
