Little Howard's Big Show for Kids at Canterbury's Gulbenkian Theatre, January 2015

"Obviously I'm brilliant. You don't need any proof, I'm clearly great."
So says Little Howard, the computer animated sidekick to Big Howard, better known as comedian Howard Read.
It may sound a bit big headed – but to be fair Little Howard has got a big head and plenty of great reviews to back him up.
“Extraordinarily inventive”, “a great children’s show”, and “plenty of laughs for adults too” are just some of the lines being banded around in the national newspapers.
Now the pair, who have won stacks of awards for their CBBC show Little Howard’s Big Question and performed at the Royal Variety show – are bringing their act to Canterbury.
The production gives a unique insight into just how tough it can be at the top; Little Howard’s big new act keeps going wrong, Big Howard has been diagnosed with being clinically unfunny and there’s a slug in the backstage toilet. Can the pair put on the best show of their lives regardless?
Little Howard’s Big Show for Kids is at the Gulbenkian Theatre on Saturday, January 31, at 2pm. Tickets cost £7.50 or £1 for babies up to 18 months. Visit www.thegulbenkian.co.uk or call 01227 769075.
