Daniel O'Reilly brings Dapper Laughs to the Casino Rooms in Rochester
12:30, 25 February 2015
An internet-hit comedian is back at large and appearing in Kent.
Comedian Daniel O’Reilly, better known as Dapper Laughs, said he had “killed off” the character in November after he caused a storm by making jokes deemed in bad taste about subjects including homelessness. His tour was cancelled and ITV dropped a second series of his TV dating show, On The Pull.
But in a video released on his YouTube channel, Daniel resurrected the character and he is now heading to Rochester nightclub Casino Rooms on Saturday, February 28.
In the video, God tells Dapper, who is relaxing in heaven with two angels, that he’s sending him back to earth because he’s “needed down there”. According to Dapper, the two go back years as they “used to go on the smash together”.
Dapper Laughs rose to internet infamy with his videos and had 1.5m Facebook fans.
The Casino Rooms will be open from 9.30pm to 3am. Entry costs from £3.
