Missed out on this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival? Don’t worry, there’s still a chance to catch up-and-coming comedians at a Kent fringe fest that boasts almost 80 live shows.
Faversham Fringe returns to the market town this October with three weeks of live stand-up, sketch comedy and improv theatre.
The festival has a stacked line-up of laughter-makers, including Darren Walsh, Caroline Madds, Andrew White, Leslie Gold, Daniel McKeon, Stefania Licari and Milo Standards - to name a few.
Alongside rising stand-up stars, there is also a varied programme of live entertainment taking place at the town’s Alexander Centre, Arden Theatre and Guildhall.
There will be Victorian ghost stories, illusionists, poetry reading, pop culture parodies, dance performances, drag cabaret, improv groups, musical acts and an adult panto.
The festival launches with two shows on Friday, October 4.
No Name Nomads’ The Shop of Old Curiosities, an improvisational comedy show set in a mysterious shop of antiques and treasures, opens the festival, followed by a night of hilarious live music from drag king Hot Rod.
Faversham Fringe continues until Sunday, October 27. You can find the full festival programme online here.
Tickets for each show can be booked separately on the Faversham Fringe website.
