Fans of School of Rock are in luck with cheap tickets now on sale for the hugely popular musical version of the film.

With tickets starting from £15, there is no booking fee for performances valid from Mondays to Fridays during the month of May while you can also save 27% off Band A tickets for performances for the same dates.

All tickets must be booked by Sunday, March 31 for the shows that are taking place at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London.

Based on the 2003 hit movie, the musical follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn an extra bit of cash by posing as a supply teacher at a prestigious prep school.

There, he will attempt to turns class of model pupils into a mind-blowing rock band without their parents or the school headmistress finding out.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning musical School Of Rock was in a celebratory mood recently after successfully bringing down the curtain on its 1000th performance.

The show stars Craig Gallivan (Stella and Footballers’ Wives) as Dewey Finn with Claudia Kariuki as Rosalie Mullins, Alan Pearson as Ned Schneebly while Michelle Francis will play Patty Di Marco.

Jake Sharp will play Dewey Finn during certain performances.

The musical first opened back in 2016 and features music not only from the original movie which stars Jack Black, but also additional music written by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

School of Rock has picked up an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
