Dawn will be at the Kent theatre on Saturday, October 14 2023. Tickets are on sale now and can be booked online here.

The comedian first toured her one-woman show, which takes audiences on a journey through some of the most ‘embarrassing, misguided and undignified moments’ of her professional and personal life, earlier this year.

The added dates were announced online with the following statement from Dawn: “Here I come, the second leg of the tour. Wooohooo! I couldn’t be more chuffed if I were a chough. So now, stop nagging me on social media about the fact we missed your town… and get booking.”

Dawn first began performing with her comedy partner, Jennifer Saunders, in the late 1970s. The pair rose to fame on the comedy circuit as part of the Comedy Strip.

Following a number of television appearances, the duo co-wrote and starred in sketch show French and Saunders, which saw them parody a number of well-known celebrities, films and pop culture moments.

From 1994 to 2007, Dawn starred in the Richard Curtis sitcom the Vicar of Dibley. The show received multiple British Comedy Awards, two International Emmys, and was nominated for several BAFTAs over the years.

Since 2012, the actor has also become known for her books, having published best-selling novels such as According to Yes, a Tiny Bit Marvellous and Because of You.
