Local musician Bob Drury has become a bit of a diamond geezer, with his solo tribute act to Neil Diamond.
On Friday he will be returning to Whitstable to play a set at the Horsebridge Arts Centre in the town centre, with an unplugged set based on simple guitar playing and vocals.
Spokesman Susan Hubbard said: “The first half of the show will be unplugged, while the second half is billed as a full on Neil Fest. He will be romping through with hits like Sweet Caroline, Cracklin’ Rosie, Forever in Blue Jeans, Love on the Rocks, and America.”
Bob Drury studied a master’s degree in classical guitar at Canterbury Christ Church University and has since toured around the UK and abroad since 2007.
Tickets cost £12 and can be purchased from the centre in person, or by calling the box office on 01227 281174. For more information please visit www.horsebridge-centre.org.uk.
