Dreamland at Margate will hold a vintage market at its Frosted Fairground this Christmas
00:02, 13 November 2016
A vintage market will be held for the first time at Dreamland this Christmas as part of the attraction's Frosted Fairground.
The pleasure park will be transformed into the Frosted Fairground on Saturday, December 3 at weekends and holidays until Monday, January 2.
As well as the vintage rides there will be yuletide treats each day. Join Teddy and Betty on the Garden Stage for their Christmas show, enjoy a pop-up panto and enjoy a Christmas tale told in the cosy comfort of the Secret Story Tent.
The first Dreamland vintage market will be on Saturday, December 3 between noon and 6pm, with a festive tea dance on Sunday, December 11 from 2pm to 8pm.
The Frosted Fairground will have Father Christmas’s grotto, a Christmas tree, carols and live music.
It also coincides with the arrival of the Waltzer at the site, a 10-car ride dating from the late 1960s, which will be available the opening weekend of the Frosted Fairground.
Last year, a Coca-Cola day at the Frosted Fairground set a record for the number of visitors in one day - 8,500.
