00:01, 07 October 2016

Scarecrows are queuing up to be admired in Westgate Parks this weekend.

The second scarecrow trail to be held, after last year’s success, has more than 40 entries from groups including Pilgrims Hospices, Howletts and the Canterbury Umbrella Centre, as well as schools, youth groups and businesses.

Follow the trail through Westgate Gardens, Toddler’s Cove and Tannery Field in Canterbury and vote for your favourite between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, October 8.
