National Theatre at Home streams the stage production of War Horse

You could be settling down to watch the iconic stage production of Kent author Michael Morpurgo's War Horse this week.
Theatres may be shut and live theatre may be on hold, but the epic, award-winning production is being made available by National Theatre at Home, which was relaunched in December.
Based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo, which has also been made into a film by Steven Spielberg, it is available on demand for the first time since its premiere 13 years ago until Wednesday, January 20.
The production, featuring the deeply touching and poignant story of the unbreakable bond between Albert and his War Horse, Joey.
It includes the world class puppetry which creates the horses - and some other animals.
The National Theatre's most successful production ever, it celebrated its 10th anniversary tour at Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre in 2017.
It will be available with audio description and for the first time British Sign Language (BSL).

National Theatre at Home is available now at ntathome.com, with single titles available from £5.99 - £8.99, a monthly subscription for £9.98 or a yearly subscription for £99.98
War Horse will also be available on Sky Store until the same date.
It will also be available in cinemas internationally from Wednesday, February 24, though currently the start date falls while the UK is scheduled to still be in lockdown.
