Headliners at this year's Ramblin' Man Fair in Mote Park, Maidstone include Extreme and ZZ Top

Rockers Extreme will headline this year's Ramblin' Man Fair.

The band, who have sold more than 15m albums, will headline the fair's main stage, along with already announced ZZ Top, at Mote Park in Maidstone this summer.

It will be the third year the huge festival has been held in Mote Park, and will be staged on Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30.

Extreme's albums include the multi million selling Pornograffitti, which spawned hits including the acoustic ballad More Than Words, and Get the Funk Out. Their appearance will be a UK festival exclusive.

“There will always be a special place for the UK in our hearts," said guitarist Nuno Bettencourt. "Recognizing Extreme as a rock band first and foremost has and will always connect us. Cannot wait to rock with you at Ramblin' Man."

Also announced by organisers Spirit of Rock are the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, playing the Outlaw County stage, Blues Pills, British Lion, who recently played Folkestone Quarterhouse, Colour Of Noise, Focus, The Gift, Ghoultown, Jessica Lynn, Vintage Caravan and The Picture Books.

The festival will have four stages over two days - the main stage, Prog In the Park stage, Outlaw Country stage and Blues stage. Previous headliners have included Saxon and Whitesnake.

ZZ Top have already been announced as headliners with other acts including Monster Truck and Colour Of Noise, with Kansas and Magnum playing the Prog in the Park stage, Joanne Shaw Taylor, The Quireboys and Big Boy Bloater on the Blues stage, with the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band headlining the Country stage, with Ghoultown, Whiskey Dick and Jessica Lynn.

Also playing will be Rival Sons, Vintage Caravan, The Picture Books and Dirty Thrills.
Weekend tickets cost £150, £250 for weekend VIP and day tickets cost £85 or £125 for VIP.
