FreeWheelin FEASTival, the delicious touring food and drinks festival, is making its Ramsgate debut this summer.
The festival will visit the town’s Government Acre green for the first time, bringing with it the best street food, bars, alfresco dining, live music and entertainment, artisan produce and arts and crafts.
“We are excited to be hosting the first Ramsgate FreeWheelin FEASTival in the heart of summer,” says Paul Kennedy, director of festival organisers Zoom Events. “We have a really strong line-up of stalls and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.”
The three-day foodie extravaganza will bring together food from all over the world, including Mexican, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Greek, American, French and Caribbean cuisines.
Whether you want a juicy burger, flavoursome souvlaki or sweet crepe, there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes.
There will also be bars serving refreshing cold drinks for you to sip as you stroll through the park.
To keep you entertained, the festival will also feature a stage of live music each day, with artists from Kent and the surrounding areas.
Rhythm Shack, Phat Gandalf, Harripaul and The Bohemianauts are just a few of the artists set to appear over the weekend.
If you want something to take home with you, there will also be a selection of stalls selling fresh produce, such as fine cheeses, continental deli foods, seasonal fruits, cakes, brownies, chutneys, sweets and Turkish delight, from artisan grocers.
You can also pick out some unique gifts and homeware from the festival’s arts and crafts section.
Whether it’s good food, live music or a spot of retail therapy, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.
The FreeWheelin FEASTival will be at Ramsgate’s Government Acre from Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 3. The festival is free to enter. For more information, click here.
