Christmas is coming early to movie fans - this weekend, to be precise.
Showcase Cinema de Lux Bluewater is to screen a day of festive movies at the start of half term, to get people feeling the festive spirit.
On Saturday, October 23 there will be the chance to see four different Christmas classics on the big screen.
The 1946 classic It’s a Wonderful Life starring James Stewart and Tom Hanks in Polar Express are two of the festive film offerings.
Guests can also watch Will Ferrell playing one of Santa’s helpers lost in Elf or see Kevin McAllister coping with being left Home Alone.
Each film will cost just £5 a ticket. Mark Barlow, UK general manager for Showcase Cinemas, said: “It’s been a tough time for everyone these past 18 months, so Showcase Cinemas wants to bring some early festive fun as we start the countdown to the most wonderful time of the year.
“We’ve brought Christmas forward a couple of months so everyone can start to get into the Christmas spirit.”
Book tickets for the showings on the Showcase de Lux website here.
