Kids Rock Festival

Want to go to a rock music festival but can’t get a babysitter? No problem - you can take your kids with you to this festival at Joss Bay in Broadstairs on Saturday, August 21. The venue is reopening after being closed for 17 months due to the pandemic on Friday, August 20, with the first show featuring stars of the smash-hit Tony Award-winning West End musical Jersey Boys - The Best of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Medway Pride

People living in Medway will come together to celebrate diversity and equality at the first LGBTQIA+ Pride event on Saturday, August 21.

Medway Council is supporting Medway Pride, which is being organised in partnership with volunteer group Medway Pride CIC, supported by Countryside, Hyde Housing, the Rochester Riverside Community Fund and other sponsors. Tickets are all taken but local residents can sign up for the waiting list. The event will be held at Rochester Riverside Walk in Doust Way from 11am to 8pm, with performances including ABBA Chique, Chai Latte, Kelly Wilde and Sami Brooks. The Stag's Town Take Over

The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks will be filling the town with live shows from Tuesday, August 24 to Sunday, September 5, including performances from BGT’s Danny Beard; singer Vanessa Haynes and Silly Billy. Go to stagsevenoaks.co.uk
