A festival dedicated to folk music will return this week with live acts after a year online during the pandemic.
Morris sides and folk acts from across the country will converge on Tenterden for the Tenterden Folk Festival.
Last year was the first virtual festival in the event’s history but this year it will be back to near normal.
Running from Thursday to Sunday, October 3, it will see barn dances, workshops, shanties sessions and plenty of live music in venues around the town, plus visiting morris sides.
Some events have been moved to larger venues to allow audiences and performers more space. There will also be a free music stage on Recreation Ground, along with arts and crafts stalls.
The popular festival, which started in 1992, attracts musicians from around the county and even further afield.
