Kaiser Chiefs will play Bedgebury in Kent this summer as part of the annual Forest Live dates.
With hits including I Predict a Riot and Oh My God, the band will play the Forestry Commission site in Goudhurst on Saturday, June 18.
Lead singer Ricky Wilson is also currently appearing as a coach on the BBC’s The Voice.
Ricky said: “As a band we’ve always loved to play outdoors, we’ve done fields, parks, farms, rooftops, beaches and back gardens, but this will be the first time we’ve played in a forest. If you go down to the woods this summer, you’re sure of a big surprise. We’re really looking forward to being part of Forest Live.”
Formed in Leeds in 2000, Kaiser Chiefs have had a string of classic album releases including Employment, Yours Truly and Off With Their Heads.
Fronted by charismatic Ricky, they are currently working on their sixth studio album.
Forest Live aims to bring new audiences to Forestry Commission sites and has been going for 15 years.
Tickets £38.50 (plus £4.35 booking fee) available from 9am Friday, January 22 from the Forestry Commission box office by calling 03000 680400, or visit www.forestry.gov.uk/music
