00:52, 07 November 2018

If you were born in the same year as cult classics Rain Main, Big and Beetlejuice, you could watch a film for free at Bluewater's Showcase cinema this weekend.

To mark Showcase Cinema’s 30th birthday, those born in 1988 can turn up on Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 and watch a film of their choosing.

You’ll just need to turn up with a valid original passport or UK driver’s licence clearly showing your date of birth to show at the Showcase box office to get in for free.

General manager Mark Barlow said: “We wanted to do something special to celebrate our 30th birthday and what better way to do that than by giving something back to those who arrived the same year we did.”
