The circus is coming to the county and is stopping off at the Jackson’s Field in Rochester for five nights.
Moscow State Circus is touring with a new production 7 Zhelany. The show is based on the Russian folk story of Cvetik-Semicvetik, or 'the flower with seven colours', by Valentin Petrovich Katayev, where each petal represents a wish.
Kushka Veslovskaya plays Zhenya, surrounded by performers back-flipping, juggling, wire-walking and flying through the air.
The show features the award-winning Troupe Leontiv, Stynka on the horizontal bouncing Russian bar, Trio Atlas on the floating globes and wirewalker Olga Rozhkovskaya.
The old-fashioned big top comes to Rochester on Wednesday, October 12, until Sunday, October 16. Shows will be at various times each day.
