Grab your tickets for another stellar weekend of spectacular live music as Westlife and Michael Ball and Alfie Boe perform at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood.
We’ve had some incredible live music in the county these past couple of weeks, from Simply Red to Noel Gallagher and, of course, Black Deer Festival.
Kent’s unmissable summer of music continues two huge headline sets from these beloved artists.
Westlife, who last performed in the county back in 2019, are up first.
Since forming in 1998, the Irish boyband have sold more than 55 million records worldwide, saw their first seven singles enter the UK chart at No.1 and have achieved 33 No.1 albums worldwide.
With hits such as Flying Without Wings, Swear It Again and World of Our Own, under their belts, fans can expect a night full to the brim with ‘00s pop anthems.
The singing stars are also expected to perform newer material from their 2021 album, Wild Dreams, which saw Shane Filan, Markus Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne come together once again for their 12th studio album.
The band said: “After the last 18 months, this tour means more to us than any that we’ve ever done before. It will be a massive celebration and will bring us closer to our fans than ever before.
“We’re planning some spectacular shows which will include all of our greatest hits and some special surprises.”
The following night, two of the most famous voices in British music, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, will return to the stage.
The iconic duo Ball and Boe will be together again this summer, belting out some of their biggest duets.
The two artists first joined forces in 2016 with their best-selling debut album, Together, and have since released a further three albums, including a collection of Christmas classics.
The pair are known for performing numbers from musicals such as Les Misérables, West Side Story and Phantom of the Opera.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to host such a formidable and popular duo," say concert organisers. “Ball and Boe, with their extraordinarily powerful voices, music repertoire and engaging characters, are sure to enthral an audience range that spans all generations. We can’t wait!”
Westlife will be at the Hop Farm Family Park in Paddock Wood, near Tonbridge, on Friday, July 1. Michael Ball and Alfie Boe will be performing at the same venue on the following night, Saturday, July 2.
