Amazon Prime Day: Video games and electronics top the billing for customers

Video games and other electronic equipment have been the most sought after items during Amazon’s big summer sale which will come to a close at midnight tonight.
According to the online retailer, some of the most popular purchases during the sale have included the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro Console, the PlayStation Plus 15 Month Membership
Prime Day offer, the Xbox One S 1TB Console Minecraft Bundle and the Xbox One S 1TB Console Sea of Thieves Bundle.
Other devices on offer that have been the pick of the bunch include the Microsoft Surface Pro 12.3-Inch Laptop, the Bosch PSB 1800 LI-2 Cordless Combi Drill, the Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner and the Hive Active Heating and Hot Water Thermostat.
Amazon yesterday got its 36-hour Prime Day 2018 event underway with millions of shoppers homing in on the online retailer to cash in on some of the deals that went live at noon.
Over a million special offers would have gone live by the time the 36-hour sale ends.
The sale comes to an end at 11.59pm tonight but Amazon has unleashed new video deals allowing games a final dash before Prime Day shuts shop.
