South East Arachnid Show: Spiders and scorpions at Ashford International Hotel

Do spiders bug you? The biggest and hairiest arachnid, bug and all things crawly exhibition in the South East is legging its way to Kent.
The sixth annual South East Arachnid Show, organised by the Invicta Arachnid Club, will see hundreds of multi-legged creatures on show, from tarantulas and scorpions to centipedes, millipedes and beetles.
There’s also plenty of Bug Grub for the brave, so you can experience that I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! taste test.
Among the exhibitors is Sittingbourne-based Bush Grub, which supplies the ITV show with crispy critters and chubby grubs for squirming celebrities to chow down on.
A must in the invertebrate world calendar, the show often attracts some 2,000 people.
The Invicta Arachnid Club annual show is at the Ashford International Hotel in Simone Weil Avenue on Sunday, January 31, between 11am and 5pm.
Entry £3 for adults, £1.50 for five to 15-year-olds and under-fives free.
