Canterbury: The Beaney stages British Wildlife Photography Awards
00:20, 23 January 2019
Celebrate British wildlife in all its glory with a photography exhibition.
Images from the annual British Wildlife Photography Awards are on show at the Beaney in Canterbury, featuring the winning snaps chosen from thousands of entries, both amateur and professional, showing the beauty and diversity of British wildlife.
The exhibition, which runs at the museum in the city centre, runs until Sunday, February 3, and is accompanied by a range of family activities.
They include making a wildlife mask, creating a wildlife habitat and making and decorating binoculars to spot wildlife in the museum with a Wild Beaney Explorers’ pack.
The activities cost from £1, or £6 for all three, with the chance to win a prize by completing a wildlife bingo card in the explorers’ pack.
The museum is free to enter and closed on Mondays, but donations go towards putting on future exhibitions.
