Fancy a scary film night to make this Halloween go with a scream?

Here's some screenings across the county:

Kent Drive-In Cinema

After a successful summer cinema series, the drive-in films are back for half term and Halloween.

Films will be shown at Betteshanger Country Park in Deal until Sunday, November 1, with day to midnight showings of classic films including Scream, Hocus Pocus and The Exorcist.

And movies from The Nightmare Before Christmas to Hocus Pocus and Rocky Horror will be on show at the New Dover Road Park and Ride at Canterbury through to Sunday, November 1.

Folkestone Harbour Arm

The Harbour Arm is staging two nights of drive-in scary movies for Halloween on Saturday, October 31.

On Saturday, October 31, Bette Midler will lead the cast in the original Hocus Pocus (PG) at noon, followed by a Halloween night special at 7pm, which is now sold out.

The Woodville, Gravesend

The cinema within the theatre has been back in action since last month and will show recently released The New Mutants (15) from Thursday, October 29 to Saturday, October 31. The American horror in a superhero genre is the thirteenth and final instalment of the X-Men series. Book tickets at woodville.co.uk

Showcase cinema, Bluewater

There are special event screenings of classic films from Thursday, October 29 to Halloween at the cinema in the Greenhithe shopping centre. Haunted house movie with a new spin Relic (15) will be screened with a director intro on Thursday, October 29, followed by The Exorcist Director's Cut (18) on Friday, October 30.

Drive-In at the Old Rectory, Leybourne

There will be three nights of scary films on offer from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1. There will be several screenings a day, with films ranging from Ghostbusters and The Lost Boys to Gremlins Beetlejuice and Poltergeist. Cars cost £20. Find out more at the Facebook page.
