Legendary 90s band Happy Mondays are coming to Kent as part of their 30th anniversary tour.
The 25-date TheTwenty Four Hour Party People – Greatest Hits Tour will come to Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone on Wednesday, November 22.
The announcement comes on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut album Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out).
Frontman Shaun Ryder said: “I am really looking forward to the Mondays’ shows leading up to Christmas.
"We're performing better than ever and I love getting together with the band, blasting out all our great tunes we've made together over the decades. It's gonna be great.”
Bez, the group’s dancer and percussionist, added: “Just as I thought it was all over, the party's starting again. Look forward to seeing you all.”
There will be a pre-sale of tickets at 10am on Wednesday, March 15, with tickets going on general sale at 10am on Friday, March 17.
