More than 160 real ales will be available to sample, both at the stations and aboard all trains, throughout the three-day festival. Many of these are from Kent-based breweries, as well as the best breweries and producers from across the country.

Those who prefer a craft cider can take their pick from around 50 varieties which will be on offer during the weekend.

The festival will see the steam and heritage diesel locomotives operate between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge. Visitors can hop on the trains and purchase their drinks on board as they journey through the Kent countryside.

Beers and ciders will also be available at Tunbridge Wells West, Groombridge and Eridge stations.

Those who visit Tunbridge Wells West station will also be able to tuck into dishes from the food stalls and enjoy live entertainment.

Spa Valley Railway Commercial Manager Jonnie Pay said: “This is one of the most important annual events for the railway as it raises essential funds to help us keep the railway running for all to enjoy.

“It’s also a very popular event which allows us to invite other local businesses to provide food, drink and entertainment to our visitors.”

The Railway Beer Festival takes place from Friday, October 7 to Sunday, October 9. Adult tickets for the train start from £25, but the beer festival is free to enter. Book online here.
