Things to do in Kent: Tickets for the Hops ‘n’ Harvest Beer Festival 2019

Kent will soon be indulging in a fun celebration of its famous hops with the return of the popular Hops ‘n’ Harvest Beer Festival.

The family-friendly event - which will take place on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8 once again at Sandling, Maidstone - is a celebration that gives visitors the chance to enjoy beer and cider as well as live, local music.

There is also the chance for visitors to truly experience the last Coal fired Oast House in Britain and even have a go at picking hops by hand.

There will certainly be no shortage of locally brewed ales and ciders. There will also be a Gin bar for the first time.

Up to 50 different varieties will be available at the beer tent and while there’s also a brilliant live music programme.

Two big stages for the live bands and singers will be present - one close to the beer and the other acoustic stage close to the family play zone.

The Village Hall will also be rocking with silent discos and a live DJ!

And the Hops ‘n’ Harvest Beer Festival is not just about adults.

Children’s favourite Basil Brush will be performing shows in the Big Top while they can also learn about Kent’s fascinating past from historical characters that will also be present at the event.

There’s also a cuddle corner and an indoor and outdoor play areas.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the gate although you can save 10% if you book online by clicking here.

For the Saturday, Adult ticket prices are set at £12 (£10.80 booked online) and £9 for children aged three to 15 (£8.10 booked online).

Concession tickets are £11 (£9.90 booked online) while a family package of two adults and two children comes to £37 (£33.30 booked online).

Adult ticket prices on Sunday stand at £9.95 (£8.95 booked online) and £8.25 (£7.40 booked online) for children aged three to 15.

Concession tickets are set at £8.95 (£8.05 booked online) and £32.95 (£29.65 booked online) for a family package of two adults and two children.

Children under three and Kent Life members can enter the Hops ‘n’ Harvest Festival for free.
