Sword swallowers, dog trainers and singers get ready – Britain’s Got Talent auditions are coming to Kent.
ITV’s talent show, led by head judge Simon Cowell, returns in 2017 and producers are scouring the country in search of folk with unusual or extraordinary skills.
The show is open to performers of all ages, with any talent: it’s all about skill and star quality.
Executive producer Amelia Brown said “We’ve had some amazing winners over the last 10 series, from this year’s champion Richard Jones, who was the first magician to ever win the show, right through to Paul Potts, Diversity and Collabro. We can’t wait to see what talent Margate has to offer.
"We are looking for all kinds of talents, so if you feel you have something special to show us then make sure you apply, you never know where it might take you.”
This year marked the 10th anniversary of Britain’s Got Talent. Hundreds of acts have gone on to find fame and fortune thanks to the show, two of the most successful being singer Susan Boyle, who has sold more than 20 million records worldwide, and dance troupe Diversity.
