Come face-to-face with a terrifying T-rex and dig for dino bones at one of Kent’s top family attractions.
For one week, Kent Life, the outdoor farmyard and agricultural museum near Maidstone, will be taken over by prehistoric creatures and fearless fossil hunters.
Dinosaur Week gives guests a chance to get up close and personal with ‘real-life’ dinosaurs, including George the Jurassic Dinosaur.
His ranger will also be on hand to tell you everything about George and his prehistoric friends.
There will also be themed activities, including the dig site where you can get stuck into discovering bones and fossils.
You can also watch live shows inside the Big Top and spend some time in Critter Corner where you will get to find out about all sorts of bugs, snakes and spiders.
The farm will also be open for visitors to meet the resident animals, including sheep, alpacas, goats, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs and ducks and there will be daily owl flying demonstrations.
During your visit, you can also enjoy tea and cakes at Dotty’s Tea Room and pick up a slice of wood-fired pizza from the Pizza Garden.
Dinosaur Week is from Monday, August 12 to Friday, August 16 at Kent Life, near Maidstone. You can book tickets online here.
Tickets cost £11.36 and under 2’s go free.
