Kent: Open Farm Sunday at farms across the county

There’s fun to be had down on the farm this weekend.
The farming industry’s national open day, Open Farm Sunday, gives everyone the chance to discover the world of farming, how it affects our lives and find out about the story behind our food.
Each year, dozens of farms across Kent open their gates for free, giving people the chance to sample some rural life, meet the animals and learn more in a family-friendly way.
Some of those joining Open Farm Sunday, which is on June 11, are:
Brockhill Farm at Brockhill Park Performing Arts College, Sandling Road, Saltwood, Hythe, CT21 4HL.
Opening between 1pm and 4pm. Free entry, but other charges apply.
Court Lodge Farm, Frog Lane, Bishopsbourne, Canterbury, Kent, CT4 5HR.
Opening between 10.30am to 2pm. Free entry.
Langdon Manor Farm, Seasalter Road, Goodnestone, near Faversham, ME13 9DA.
Opening between 11am and 4pm. Entry is free, with tractor and trailer farm tours, strawberry tastings and games and activities. Call 01795 590033 or email megan@langdonmanor.co.uk.

Opening between 11 am and 4pm. Free entry, with other charges applying.

Opening between 10.30am and 4.30pm. Entrance fee.

Opening between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Free entry.

Opening between 10am and 4pm. Entry is free, though other charges apply.
