Britain’s best kitesurfers will be making their way to Ramsgate this summer as it once again plays host to the final leg of the National Kitesurfing Championships.
Following its success last year, the BKSA (British Kite Sports Association) wanted to return to the town this August for two days of action.
Organisers are predicting huge crowds at Ramsgate Main Sands on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25.
About 70 competitors from across the country will be taking to the water to compete for the title of National Freestyle Kitesurfing Champion.
Ramsgate town council’s Active Ramsgate will be hosting the event, and putting on other activities such as live music, free kitesurfing taster sessions, trials on the water, and stalls.
