Love Island’s Ekin-Su and podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsey to sign books at Waterstones in Bluewater, Greenhithe
05:00, 25 August 2024
Former Love Island winner and reality TV mogul Ekin-Su is celebrating the release of her new book.
The television personality will be signing copies of Be Your Own Best Friend: And Other Lessons From a Life In and Out of the Limelight at Waterstones in Bluewater.
The book is the influencer’s “honest and uplifting” guide to life and fans can get their copy signed at the Greenhithe shopping centre on Monday, September 2.
The memoir includes lessons that the TV star has learnt from her time on and off screen and is the first book penned by the ex-islander.
Ekin-Su first found fame when she joined a Turkish soap opera in 2020, but it wasn’t until she joined the cast of Love Island in 2022 that she became a familiar face in the UK.
Her high-profile relationship with fellow contestant Davide Sanclimenti and participation in other reality shows such as The Traitors, Dancing on Ice and Celebrity Big Brother has seen Ekin-Su gain more than four million followers on Instagram.
You can get tickets to the book signing online here. Tickets cost £20 and include a copy of the book to be collected on the day.
Ekin-Su isn’t the only social media star coming to Bluewater’s bookshop in September.
Married couple and comedy podcasters Chris and Rosie Ramsey are visiting Waterstones to sign copies of their debut children’s book, There’s a Poonami in My House.
The pair, who host one of the UK’s most successful podcasts, have two children together and Rosie, who previously worked in schools and nurseries, has become a well-known ‘mumfluencer’ on Instagram.
Chris, who has been a touring stand-up comedian for more than 15 years, is known for his TV appearances including the sitcom Hebburn, co-hosting Children in Need and competing in Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.
The couple launched their podcast five years ago and have since released a non-fiction book, embarked on two nationwide arena tours and hosted their own chat show based on the podcast.
Chris and Rosie Ramsey will be at Waterstones in Bluewater on Wednesday, September 11 at 4.30pm. You can book tickets here.
Tickets cost £12.99 and include a copy of the book. Parents who are accompanying their children do not need to purchase an additional ticket.
