Boyband McFly have been announced as one of the headliners of a huge summer festival next year.
Tickets go on sale for next summer’s Pub in the Park, which takes place from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9 at Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells, on Friday, November 11.
Presale tickets go on sale at 10am, general sale begins at 12pm. You can book tickets here.
The chart-topping pop group, who are best known for singles such as All About You, Obviously and 5 Colours in Her Hair, will headline Pub in the Park on Saturday night as the first wave of acts are revealed.
McFly band members Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd will be joined by British drum and bass trio Rudimental, who will headline the Friday night with a DJ set.
American soul legends Sister Sledge, whose hits include We Are Family and He’s the Greatest Dancer, will be closing the festival on Sunday.
Indie singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy has also been announced for next year’s festival, and will be performing on Saturday afternoon ahead of McFly’s headline slot.
The festival, which combines top music acts with award-winning chefs and local restaurants, returns next summer with Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge.
This year, the festival served up an incredible 19,000 dishes to visitors, and next summer is set to bring another star-studded line-up of TV chefs, mouth-watering food and cooking demonstrations to the Kent park.
“We love coming to Tunbridge Wells,” says Pub in the Park Managing Director Miranda Martin. “It’s a fan favourite on our Pub in the Park tour and we can’t wait to come back. We’re hard at work behind the scenes creating the biggest event to date and it won’t be one to miss. Keep an eye out for more announcements coming soon.”
