Miles Jupp in stand-up comedy show Is This The Chap You're Thinking Of? at Theatre Royal Margate

Actor, writer and comedian Miles Jupp had such a good time when he brought his show to Kent last year, that he’s chosen to record his live DVD here.
In the show Is This The Chap You’re Thinking Of? Miles will be discussing himself, you, domestic imprisonment, fatherhood, having to have opinions, hot drinks, bad balance, housing, ill health, the ageing process, navigation, other people’s pants and a number of other topics.
He first performed the show at Margate’s Theatre Royal last year and is now back to record the DVD. His ‘people’ say: “Bits of it will be quite mild-mannered, and some of it will probably be a tad on the stroppy side. It’s a man, standing on a stage, facing an audience, talking about some things and ultimately aiming to cover the cost of his white goods.”
Miles played Nigel in Rev, John Duggan in The Thick Of It and Owen in Spy, as well as appearing in Michael Winterbottom’s The Look Of Love and George Clooney’s Monuments Men.
A regular on Radio 4, he hosts the panel show It’s Not What You Know and his sitcom In And Out Of The Kitchen was nominated for a Writers’ Guild Award.
See him at the Theatre Royal Margate on Sunday, February 15, at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £15. Visit www.theatreroyalmargate.com or call 01843 296111.
