Kent’s newest garden centre is now open and ready for the upcoming gardening season.
Coblands Garden Centre in Sundridge, Sevenoaks has unveiled its new-look premises on Dryhill Lane to the public featuring an extensive range of plants as well as a rustic café and a small selection of gifts.

Set on an old growing nursery and surrounded by the beautiful Kent countryside, Coblands Garden Centre has been helping gardeners since 1963 when it was a plant nursery and has been mostly serving trade customers in recent years.
Following a refurbishment, Coblands Garden Centre is not only on hand for all your gardening needs but also as a place to go to with family or friends for a leisurely shop and a slice of cake and a coffee.
“We pride ourselves on stocking plants from many English nurseries and growers,” says Judith Kerr-Shepard who is Garden Centre Manager at Coblands Garden Centre.
“Our shrubs and perennials are grown on our own nursery in nearby Tonbridge and we are looking to partner with local artists and gift suppliers.
“The new Cornflower café will be serving up delicious hot and cold food and drinks as well as freshly-baked cakes and sweet treats including gluten-free options.
With an outstanding selection of plants ranging from bedding, shrubs, ornamental and fruit trees to David Austin roses and specimen plants to give instant impact, this really is a garden centre that has everything a customer would need.

“Coblands Garden Centre will be a great pit stop not only for our green-fingered customers but also for tired walkers, cyclists and dog walkers exploring the ‘Garden of England’, she continues.
“For tired pooches there is a dedicated dog friendly area with beds and special dog treats are available to purchase. Customers will also be able to benefit from free WiFi and charging points.”
Coblands Garden Centre also boasts a beautiful new pot range, including Mediterranean-inspired majestic pots as well as traditional planters allowing customers to pick up a pot to suit any size plant.
