An established house music festival has moved to Kent and is preparing to welcome ravers this weekend.
Previously in Essex for the last three years, High Definition heads to its new home at Eridge Park, near Tunbridge Wells, on Saturday, July 5.
Former Radio 1 DJ Carl Cox is set to perform alongside Italian DJ Marco Carola, banging out techno grooves in a UK exclusive performance.
They will be joined by one of the biggest female house DJs on the scene, Charlie Hedges.
“I always like playing a different crowd. The energy should be fantastic and I’m excited to perform the set there,” said Essex girl Charlie, 27, who first taught herself to DJ on a boyfriend’s decks and now has a slot on Kiss FM as well as bookings at clubs around the world.
“It’s amazing really, I wake up every day and think, ‘Wow! This is my dream job and I am living it.’ My friends usually come to all of my events and we hang out after. They’re pretty cool about it all, we have a great time.”
The 12-hour festival of beats promises hundreds of metres of LED screen panels, pyrotechnics, CO2 canons, full coloured laser systems, as well state-of-the-art audio equipment. The seven-stage rave features hosts of other world class DJ acts including George Fitzgerald, Mark Knight, and a six-hour set from the Martinez Brothers.
High Definition will take over Eridge Park from 11am to 11pm on Saturday.
Standard tickets cost £54.50 and VIP options £89.50. Coach tickets are also available. Visit highdefinitionfestival.com for more info.
