Penshurst Place Christmas panto-style show Christmas Tidings and the chance to meet Santa
05:00, 22 November 2021
Children can enjoy a magical panto-style storytelling experience rounded off by meeting Santa at a Kent stately home this year.
Penshurst Place will hold Christmas Tidings in its historic Baron's Hall - which recently featured in BBC2's The Boleyn's - on selected days in December in the run-up to Christmas.
The North Pole will be the setting for the interactive and engaging session of festive fun with Tidings the elf and Father Christmas.
With the help of the audience, and some special festive characters, Tidings needs to solve several very tricky magic riddles to unlock the answer of how to protect Christmas before time runs out.
He needs all the help he can to save the big day and to make sure the dreams of children all round the world will come true. Santa is relying on him and his team of Penshurst Place helpers.
After each show lasting 25 minutes, young visitors have the chance to meet Father Christmas and have their photo taken with him.
There will be five sessions a day at weekends from Saturday, December 4 to Sunday, December 19, and on Monday, December 20 to Wednesday, December 22.
Tickets are £6 per person. Book by clicking here.
Parking is free and the Christmas Gift Shop will be open, as will the Porcupine Pantry Café.
