Paul Weller to headline the Hop Farm in Kent in June 2022
10:00, 13 December 2021
Paul Weller has announced a second summer date in Kent for 2022.
The Modfather, whose 17th solo album was released last week, had already announced he will play Dreamland in Margate on Friday, July 15.
Now, as part of three huge outdoor shows next year, he will headline the Hop Farm in Beltring, Paddock Wood, on Saturday, June 18.
The night before, on Friday, June 17, Simply Red will headline the venue.
Few artists have influenced music like The Jam and Style Council frontman, whose live performance will feature classics from his back catalogue such as Wild Wood and You Do Something To Me.
His latest solo album An Orchestrated Songbook, which was released on December 10 was recorded with award-winning arranger, Jules Buckley and the BBC Symphony Orchestra and reimagines a selection of his vast catalogue. It follows this year's highly acclaimed No.1 album Fat Pop, tracks from which will also feature in the live show.
Paul said: “It’s brilliant to announce these UK summer shows for 2022 and to be able to play outdoors again after such a long time. Can’t wait.”
Tickets for the date at the Hop Farm on Saturday, June 18, cost £48.50 and are on sale at 10am on Friday, December 17. To book click here.
