Family fun shifts up a gear with a new show opening at the Hop Farm Family Park.
The Tractor and Smallholding Show brings together the worlds of vintage, veteran and classic tractors with farmers and smallholders this weekend.
With a 1940s theme to events, one of the highlights will be a Pageant of Transport featuring classic cars, motorcycles, classic trucks and commercials, classic 4x4s and ex-military vehicles.
Steam engines, a model steamer and a miniature railway will delight families and visitors can see displays, a working area and show arena with commentary and prizes.
Rural pursuits are highlighted with livestock displays, weaving, felting and crafts.
Freddie’s Farm will be putting on a sheepdog display and young visitors can meet the dogs and ducks.
Local goodies such as honey, apples and cider will also be available at the farmers’ market.
