One of Kent’s much-loved summer attractions is returning for a limited run during the summer holidays.
The unexpected reopening of Maze Moon’s maize maze in Lower Rainham comes after organisers said they didn’t plan on opening this year but were “blown away” by the interest from the public.
The mini maze will be open to visitors for two days only on Thursday, August 10 and Sunday, August 13 from 10am to 4pm.
The maze, just outside of Gillingham, has a Super Woof theme for this year which aims to appeal to young children, animal lovers and superhero fans.
In previous years the mazes, which could previously be found in both Rainham and Maidstone, have featured sunflower and astronaut themes.
The field has also offered visitors the chance to pick their own sunflowers in the summer, but organisers have confirmed that the sunflower patch will not be returning this August.
The picnic area near the maze will be open and the on-site cafe and ice cream van will be open.
Tickets cost £3 per person, or £10 for a family of four. Children aged under 2 go free.
Tickets also include parking and a free activity card.
There is no advance booking, tickets are available on the day from the gate. Entry is cash only.
