Tonbridge Philharmonic Society present proms at the castle
15:00, 05 July 2016
Tonbridge Philharmonic Society choir and orchestra will be providing the perfect soundtrack for a summer's night on Sunday, July 10.
The event, that takes place on the castle lawn, is part of the Tonbridge Festival.
Classics such as Land of Hope and Glory and Rule, Britannia will be on the programme, as well as the Tonbridge Top Ten - a selection of pieces voted for by the society’s concert audiences.
A firework finale will round off events.
Music director Matthew Willis said: “After choosing my first season’s summer concert programme with the Tonbridge Philharmonic Society, we asked our audiences what they’d like us to perform this season. The concert will include the people’s favourites.”
Gates open at 6pm, with the concert starting at 8pm.
Tickets are £15 or £13. They are available from tonbridgefestival.co.uk or the Tonbridge Council Gateway next to the castle.
