If you're worried your summer might be lacking some adventure, one pub chain believes it has the al fresco dining answer.
The Elite Pubs chain, which runs seven pubs across Kent, is launching a series of themed outdoor dining Adventure Shacks to book for up to eight people.
The 'paradise of al fresco' dining promises to serve up the very best food, creative cocktails and good vibes.
There will be a Beach Shack, inspired by the great British seaside, to fight the getaway blues this summer; a jungle-themed Tiki Shack, which promises to transport you to the tropics with exotic flowers, green palms and tiki statues, and a Secret Garden Shack, with hanging foliage and glittering disco balls.
They are set to spring up at the chain's pubs across the county, and will be available to book from Monday, July 19.
The pubs set to have them are: the Farm House in West Malling; the Great House in Hawkhurst; the Pig & Sty at Bethersden near Ashford; the Poacher & Partridge at Tudeley; the Potting Shed, at Langley; the Vineyard at Lamberhurst and the Pheasant Plucker at Ide Hill, Sevenoaks.
Guests can tuck into seasonal menus and there will be a selection of cocktails on offer, including frozen passionfruit margaritas, strawberry daiquiris, and pina coladas, as well as beers, ciders and non-alcoholic alternatives.
They will be available to hire for £45 Sunday to Thursday, and £65 Friday and Saturday, and will be opening on Monday, July 19 until Sunday, October 3, when they will be made over ready for the autumn and winter season.
